January 2009 Free Coin Contest

Letís start off the new year with a new free coin(s) contest.  Itís been a while, so it seems like as good as time as any.  Since everybody has a slightly different interest, I will offer an item to the lucky winner from this list.

1994 Proof set
1909 P VDB Lincoln Cent (in a condition better than Fine
Hard cover PCGS book
AU/BU Morgan Dollar Pre 1921
10 Indian Head Cents (G4 or so)
10 Full Date Buffalo Nickels Ė various dates (some repeaters)
10 Mercury Dimes Ė various dates
or something else if I think of it.

The winner will get to pick one set.  Hey, it's not much, but it is free and I am not asking alot

Here are the rules for contest #6.

1.   In order to enter, you must be a forum member.  Registration is free, and I will never sell or give away your email address
2.   You must make a minimum of one post in the forum and write two reviews for either a coin book, a coin type publication, a coin supply or for a coin dealer.  (if you do not see the item you want to review, please follow the link to make a suggestion.)  Writing an opinion on a state quarter is also very easy to do
3.   After you complete item 2, please post in this thread to ensure your entry
4.   You can post as many times as you want, but there will only be one entry per contest
5.   Winner will be responsible for PM me your mailing address.  I will pay for shipping, etc
6.   The ratings on this site are serious.  It behooves us to identity those reputable dealers so they stay in business as well as supplies and book.  There are other items to rate for fun such as different coin designs.
8.   www.coindealerratings is the final authority on winner eligibility.  For example, if your post is of no value, then your entry may be void.  It is easy though, for a review, just tell us what you thought of the service or book and provide the rating info.
9.  Both these websites are in their infancy, so if you have issues, please contact me via the forum.
10.  Contest ends Jan 15th.

Good luck.  You can also post any questions in this thread.

I tried to add a book, but I'm not sure I did it right. And I think maybe the product description needs to be changed.

Absolutely.  You can also rate coin designs.  I can also add the ebay seller and/or local dealer if you wish.  Just send me a PM with their info and I will add them

Ok, I have posted. And I have reviewed a state quarter, as well as Jeff Ambio's new book on Walkers.

I've added a short review for World Paper Money, a longer review for CoinManage software and a review for Celestron's 44300 microscope that is awaiting approval.
