Zachary Taylor Dollar Coin

The title says it all.  This has been my take on President Taylor.  I find the design of his face (obverse) to be one in an expression of boyish glee.  If viewed from "below" (say 45 degrees from apogee) the design gives the face a definite simian look.  I do like the reverse, though I think the Statue of Liberty (just the statue, not any other personification of Liberty as such) as a design element is overused in our coins as it is.  As a coin collector I will try to obtain an uncirculated one from each mint.

When I look at real pictures of this president, I see some simularities to the coin,  He looks like a man who has been exposed to the elements.
